That same night, D knocks and asks for a phone to call B – they have to meet but D’s car broke down. She loans D her car and he goes. The morning after she tells the story to a friend, who gets very scared: he used to work in CI5 and tells her B and D are dead. That night 6 years ago B was waiting for backup but D was too late because his car broke down, and B was killed. D lasted only 3 months after that, then he let himself be killed too. CI5 was eventually closed and C died too. The singer’s car is later found near the place of the shooting, empty. She believes her experience, and thinks D finally made it to B, because she found B’s picture where D told her to look, and above all because she found a picture of an alien landscape she painted has been completed: there are two tiny men walking hand in hand, and they could be B&D. |

D is very upset for the dog and cries when visiting B in hospital. B comforts him, kisses him and promises to buy D a new puppy. D only later realizes what the kiss means, and also that B – who never saw the dog – knew how it looked like. |
