Title: Journey West
Category: CASE
Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): 1995. B&D are now consultants for CI5, and are sent on a secret mission that turns into a nightmarish op susie. They are sent to a US nazi group, where they are to train the troops and then realize a secret hit. B is poisoned and has to receive an antidote daily, to ensure cooperation, and they have to pose as violent monsters. The strain makes them realize that they have been in love, and they progress to a physical relationship. However, as B had to commit particular violent acts to protect wounded D (ripping a heart off a person’s chest, torturing, etc), he falls into a dark mood despite D’s efforts. As they are sent on their mission (kidnap the US presiden’s children) they meet an indian family, who uncannily understand and help them through B’s poisoning crises, his depression and their practical problems in the op susie. There is more violence, but in the end, B&D manage to save the president, have the nazi captured and drag B back from his mood (with the help of some indian spirits). All is well.

Title: I Never Metamorphosis I Didn’t Like
Category: AU
Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): D wakes up as a 6 foot roach.  B tries his best but he is still horrified (bad memories of roaches in African prison) — it gets worse, as C is kidnapped. Despite B’s opposition, D gets to HQ to help, and there he is almost lynched by disgusted colleagues. Mad with rage, D runs away to look for C on his own, and with his roach senses he finds him. D kills C’s captors but he is seriously injured;  C himself dies.  The other CI5 agents arrive too late, and even think that it was D-roach who killed C.  D realizes that even B believed that, and hides away, showing up again just to help with the investigation on C’s death. All is very bitter — the relationship between B&D is destroyed (B is revolted, D is bitter and hates himself). C’s killers go loose and D is slowly dying. B&D realize they are in Kafka’s story and they have to follow its outline to be able to finish this hellish experience.  So, B steps over D and kills him — but contrary to his expectations, B doesn’t wake up from the nightmare! He is heartbroken and miserable and desperate, thinking he has failed D and then killed D and now he is stuck there. Then he realizes he has not finished the story — like in Kafka, he has to be HAPPY and relieved that the roach is dead.  As he does so, he gets back home to a worried and relieved D (who got back home as soon as he died in “it”).

 Better, I know, to trust only myself;
Others cannot live their lives for me.
 Despite this, there’s a certain green-eyed elf
Into whose care I give my heart for free.
Each day he guards my back and I watch his,
As if we thought our luck would never end.
Needing his smile and wary of his fists,
Denying love, I say we’re just good friends.

Does he believe that I’m completely blind,
Or that he means a smidgen less to me?
You moron, Bodie — open up your mind!
Look in my eyes; my love is there to see.
Emerging from the closet’s not my style,
So I’ll just keep on trying to make you smile.

An accidental misunderstanding of some hypnotic suggestion eventually sends B&D in bed together Ñ and then makes D forget everything!  B is shattered and realizes he is in love while D’s reciprocating was just his own manipulations, now rightly punished.
