Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): After leaving the farm they worked on, and mating the girl they befriended as a goodbye, B and Raven are ambushed by painted people and Raven would be dead but for a shaman that saves them and takes them to his isolated valley. He is none other than Amber, the one they were looking for, and even better news, he is hosting the spirit of the dead Falcon, who pardons B & Raven.  All seems well, but the valley hides the mirror of the future and the well of the past, and these cause harm. In fact, B & Raven look at the future and see distress and suffering;  then B looks at the past to find out exactly what happened to Raven while captive, to share his grief– but Raven is shamed and outraged and they quarrel and almost split.  Things are soon mended, however, and happiness is back, despite the future looms menacing.  They are snowed in and have to wait, and B & Raven retell his past history and lovers. When spring comes, they go back to the woods, decided never to cross to human lands where the grief seen in the mirror would happen–but as they near the elven land, they learn that Garth and the humans have assulted the elves, killed Raven’s sister and kidnapped his mother.  Desperate, because it might mean the terrible visions of the future might happen, they nevertheless decide to go and rescue her.

Title: Hunting, The  5
Category: HUNTG (The Hunting)
Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): B&D arrive back to elven land, and witness the destruction wrought by Garth. Amber reinstates Raven to his rank, both as he is Amber the eldest elf and as he is Falcon the killed shaman. Raven and B gather a mercenary band (there is some lingering attrition b/w them and the elves) to free Feyleen. They leave before the others, to infiltrate the enemy and disarm them: Raven poses as B’s captive whore, and they run into trouble when some men want to buy him from B. All the evil visions of the future they had from the magic mirror reveal themselves rather harmless: Raven with a collar is part of their undercover role; B whipped is a punishment for not sharing his prize chattel, but Raven frees him in time.  They eventually penetrate Garth’s camp and free Feyleen, but there is a surprise: she is in love with Kevin, who was B’s love when they were adolescents (they were discovered and punished, and B forced to marry a girl who then died in childbirth).  The love is mutual, even though Kevin owns a gelded boy, Raphael, who loves him. Kevin has affection for this boy he beds, and since Feyleen also likes him, they are all three happy together (!). After a bloody battle, Garth is vanquished and Raven elected High Chief. As Garth dies shortly thereafter, and the ominous vision of a pyre turns out to be his funeral one, all is happy — except for the menace represented by Garth’s sons, who Raven cannot bring himself to kill, since they are blood relatives (and since there are 10 more books to go)

Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): During a party, B shows D a betting game called two up. They drink and play, end up gambling their clothes and then kisses – Things Proceed From There but at some point D gets upset at being considered a pricktease (Which to him equals to gay?) and goes on the notoriuos tirade: “Don’t you ever – *ever*  –  say that about me, do you hear?”  Real anger was glittering in his eyes.  “I’ve flattened men for less!  I’m not gay, never was, don’t intend to become gay, and the fact that I fancy you could have something to do with the fact that you’re my best mate and you’re just about the most beautiful physical specimen I’ve ever seen.  Call me a fool, call me a clown, call me old and ugly if you like, but if you have the idea that I’m gay you’re vastly mistaken and can go out through that front door and stay out.  If you *ever* call me a prick tease again I’ll – I’ll hit you, Bodie, I promise you.”.  B agrees, and they blithely go to bed deciding that they will be equals and wont dominate the other in bed, since – yuk – they are not gay.

Title: Nothing Left to Lose
Category: AU
Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): From a story by Kathy Keegan.  Near future. After a comet has impacted the earth, survivors live in a semi-civilized state. (think Mad Max).  B is a law officer in a frontier settlement, and he has to fight a band of  nomad outlaws alone — luckily he can enlist as help another outlaw, gunfighter D. (The fee is supplies and B’s himself).  They get ready to fight, and wait. Flashback to their lives since when the comet hit, as they were adolescents.  B became a whore, then ended up in the London militia before getting to the end of his tether and heading out of town, in a cleaner place. D was a gunsmith, was falsely accused of rape, had to run and accidentally kill — is now a wanted man. (It is hinted that they are the grandsons of the B&D of CI5).  The fight happens and they win it, even if B is hurt.  As B recovers  the grateful settlers devise a plan to save D from bounty hunters: he will be officially dead in the fight and assume a new identity, that of Billy Shane, and he will stay to help B to enforce the law.  B&D like each other, so D collecting his fee is a good thing for both.

We could have if you tended that way!”

Title: Heaven Can Bloody Well Wait
Category: DEATH
Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): Storyline of the movie: B is killed while saving D, only it was not his time but D’s.  He is then scheduled to be sent back as soon as a new and similar body is available–but B can’t wait because D is behaving self-destructively.  So they give him, temporarily, the first available body–a woman’s.  B accosts D (who rapes her) and manages to convince him of his identity. Since they were both in love with the other, but both too scared to confess, Things Proceed From There.  They are engaged and get married–despite a temporary separation because B almost sleeps with Murphy and then is raped by her employer.  B is pregnant when he is notified that his new body is available, but he refuses because that way he would lose the child. So they go on until B is killed in a shop bombing.  D waits patiently, and after a year B is back with a male body that looks like his old one.  Happy happy joy joy.
