CI5 eventually rescues him, but D is very proud and refuses any help,  thinking that B lied to him and he was just part of the op. D scrapes on, shaking the addition, and eventually is reconciled with B, even if the relationship is still not right, as B tends still to treat D as his property. With work, some scenes, and lots of thought, they improve the relationship and all is well, except that the baddie escapes and kidnaps B. Title: Brother’s Keeper
Category: H/C:p (HURT/COMFORT: PHYSICAL)
Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): Bodie is the right hand man of sheik Rassouli in Africa;  as he buys slaves for him, he finds and purchases a captured London policeman, Ray Doyle;  he saves him from castration but has to rape him to satisfy the slave merchant.  They head back to the sheik, through the desert, and slowly he and Doyle get on better terms, agree on having sex.  At some point, B deserts with D, and heads to the nearest port out of Africa;  but he is bitten by a snake and only D’s prompt care saves his life.  B’s deliriums make D understand he was physically/sexually and psychologically abused by his father (D himself is an orphan and fosterchild).  Their relationship becomes deeper and more mutual as a result, even though B is still mysterious and the status of their relationship is uncertain.  They finally make it to their ship out, even though D is wounded, and this time B looks after him.  As they arrive, many things are still unspoken, but D finally understands most of it as he overhears B making his report to CI5’s head – B was working on an assignment to stop the  weapon and slaves traffic.  C, albeit pleased, wants to send B back, to look for a prospective CI5 candidate, policeman Doyle, who was reported missing in that area while also investigating in the slave deal. B, deadpan, asks for a long leave if he brings D back, then runs back to him.  (C sees them and laughs – B needed some loosing up!).
