Title: Adversaries |
Category: CASE |
Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): Geraldine Mather’s brother commits suicide because gay and blackmailed. Looking for justice/revenge, Mather contacts Pellin, friend of her brother, who calls in CI5 (he doesn’t know of the mutual enmity). To convince Mather of their willingness to help, C shows her that B&D are a couple, putting her in front of the surveillance camera.É C sets up a trap for the blackmailer, with him as bait: he is B’s father so it’s more lucrative to blackmail him for nepotism towards a son with unorthodox sexual proclivities. The trap is sprung and the blackmailers arrested: tempers flared for the setup (B did NOT approve) are smoothed and a tentative understanding with Mather is reached. |

Title: Out of the Shadows |
Category: H/C:p (HURT/COMFORT: PHYSICAL) |
Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): B is captured by baddies, beaten and locked in a crate with a corpse. When he’s found, he is deeply catatonic and only D’s presence can draw some response, even though B cannot speak anymore. B is claustrophobic, afraid of darkness and being alone: when the lights fail at the hospital he’s in, he jumps out of the window and runs – D finds him in front of D’s old flat, takes him home and comforts him, very sweetly tenderly and realistically – D is in love with him, but realistically there is no sex as B is not Ôconsenting adult’. B doesnt like the hospital and wants to stay with D, they share the bed and cuddle nonsexually. To stay with D more time, B accompanies him at work. As D is called to look for a bomb, B refuses to leave him alone, and when the bomb goes off, B saves his life by pushing D out of the way. They are trapped by rubble in the dark, but B finds the strength to get a flashlight, help D to find a way out and *call* for help even if he is stuttering. |
Size in K/Number of Pages (pp): The resolution is overswift: D recovers, B goes to speech therapy and they become lovers as B is now phobias-free. C guesses their relationship and assigns them a double flat, even if nobody else is informed. Happily ever after, magicwandily. |

Title: Web, The |
Category: FUTUR (FUTURE OF POST CI5 STORY) |
Plot summary (very short pieces are sometimes copied here in their entirety): B is waiting for a date in a remote cottage, and thinks of the messy situation he is in – his girlfriend Kristie is pregnant but he doesn’t care for her and wants to quit her. At the same time he is having an affair with Anne Holly Doyle; after Ann’s and D’s wedding (and his resignation from CI5 for a safer job) she first turned to B for help as the marriage deteriorated – and now Ann is pregnant and either D or B could be the father. Apparently B is waiting for Ann for a last weekend, as he feels he has to concede to D now that Ann is pregnant.. Instead of Ann, however, D arrives, Òto have a talk.” But what D says is unexpected: first he scolds B for not loving Kristie and cheating on her, and then Dconfesses that *he,* D, has been having an affair with Kristie and that the baby is most likely his. B accuses him of hypocrisy and D says that Ann has asked for divorce as she has another man, father of her child, so both D and Kristie were trying to help each other… |
Size in K/Number of Pages (pp): B says he is glad Ann is leaving since she was not right for D, he should have prevented the marriage. At this point D understands B is Ann’s lover and he hits B. As they fight, they realize both of them are not made for married life, Òconfirmed bachelors,” they say, and that after all the best thing is that they both leave the girls and be together. Kiss, sex, end. Whatever! |
